Figurative gilt bronze timepiece by Max Blondat in the French art nouveau style. Inscribed with the artist's name "Max Blondat" and from the Valsuani foundry. Bears a stamp that reads "Cire Perdu"- a French term for lost wax casting. There is also a copyright symbol and the date (02.1914). The mechanism is accessible via a hinged door with radial cutout arrows and a heart. The clock itself features a putto in front of the base and is flanked by floral branches.
In good condition consistent with age and use.
